Take Me Out to the Ballgame is a Observational documentary of SCSU's Baseball field. Created for COM 485, Documentary Filmmaking. This project exemplifies my ability to transform even the most basic of footage into a piece that evokes feeling and changes the way one can perceive something. In this case, by leaning into the worn down, vintage appearance of Southern's baseball field alongside the empty surrounding area, the location can be seen in a more intriguing way.

THE COVID CRISIS
The Covid Crisis highlights first hand accounts of students and faculty from Southern Connecticut State University during the Covid-19 pandemic. They detail the impact it has had on academic, campus and personal lives. This documentary was created for COM 360, Field Production. This project highlights my knowledge of how to conduct a proper, well-lit interview which is necessary for working in news productions as well as other documentaries. Additionally, this project displays my color correction application skills and further expertise in post-production.

BOTTLE
A dementia-stricken women wanders out of her home as she remembers her time with her late husband, William. Her daughter, her primary caretaker and nurse, struggling to keep herself together, finds the elderly woman gone and goes on a search to find her. Jessie served as the camera op, co-writer, makeup artist and costume director of this project.
